One year post-secondary education in Office Management.
Minimum of five (5) year’s work related experience.
Fully functional in English and French (Written and Oral).
Competency in Microsoft Office.
Working with others.
Oral/ Written Communication, French and English.
Decision Making and Time Management.
Job Task Planning and Organizing.
Writing, Reading and Critical Thinking.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Experience with social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Experience with Hootsuite an asset.
Fully functional in English and French.
Work Setting: Office, reception area.
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: General office equipment, electronic mail, MS Word, spreadsheet software, Excel, presentation software, MS PowerPoint, internet browsers.
Keyboarding (Words per Minute): 41 – 60 wpm
Area of Specialization: Reports, forms and records, correspondence, social media.
Answer and process incoming telephone calls.
Greet visitors to FIAA offices.
Type correspondence as required.
Fax, photocopy, document scanning and maintain files as required for management.
Open and distribute mail.
Book travel and accommodations.
Book board room and meeting rooms.
Take minutes for Management meetings.
Update and manage file system.
Order office supplies to maintain established inventories.
Perform other miscellaneous office duties as required.
Security and Safety: Bondable, enhanced reliability security clearance and a criminal record check.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks, sitting for extended periods and dealing with the public.
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, valid driver’s licence.
